Located on southern Lake Erie, Cleveland is a city that has
undergone a rebirth in recent years. The downtown core has been revitalized
and now includes world class attractions, shopping and nightlife.
Probably the biggest focus in Cleveland has been the Rock
'n Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Located downtown, the museum houses
a permanent collection of Rock memorabilia that is unmatched anywhere in
the world. Everything from cars and clothing owned by the Beatles, to original
lyric notebooks from Jimi Hendrix. That's all nicely complimented by a constantly
changing feature exhibits that keep the museum exciting.
If you're looking for other great ways to spend the day,
Cedar Point, located in Sandusky, OH about an hour west of Cleveland,
is home to some of the world's most incredible roller coasters. There's
accomodations right at the park, which include affordable camping, and there's
plenty to do for a day or even two.
Of course downtown Cleveland also has plenty to do. You can catch an Indians
game at Jacobs
Field, spend time browsing at the West Side Market, or spend an evening
eating, drinking and unwinding in The Flats, Cleveland's entertainment district.
